We are pleased to announce that the harbor is open and filling up with boats, and that you can now obtain a beach pass from the TKPOA. The beach pass conditions will be the same as before, and will be issued by the TKPOA at their office located at 356 Ala Wai Blvd. Please be sure to bring your TKBHA membership card with you for identification.
The TKM is working on a more permanent solution for the MS Dixie but has not announced a plan yet or the schedule for the channel dredging. At this point though, it does not appear that the dredging will impact our season this year.
The contractor is making good progress every day on the J-Dock, but the dock and surrounding area is still considered an active construction site. We ask that for safety and security you do not attempt to access or utilize the J-Dock until the work is completed.
If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
We will be holding office hours for Approved Boat Operators ONLY to pick up their dock key and will be providing Assistance with Forms for those who need it at the South Lake Tahoe CoWork location listed below. A Picture ID is required to obtain the dock key, and it must match the name submitted on the 2026 TKBHA Boat and Operator Information and Agreement form. Below are the scheduled drop in days and times. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

We’re located on the southern shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, California. Our docks are located at 2415 Venice Drive East, South Lake Tahoe, California 96150. We operate one of the largest not for profit docks on Lake Tahoe, offering our members 266 secured boat slips in several different lengths, including:
For more information about our boat slip lengths and boat length limitations, see Our Maximum Boat Dimensions. Weather permitting, our facilities are open from April 1 to October 31.
For our members, we also offer an adjacent lighted parking facility that accommodates approximately 120 vehicles. We also provide a secure private restroom dockside for our members. Each of our boat slips has the limited use of electrical power for occasional minor boat maintenance.
Our boat slips are located on the East Cove waterways. We share these waterways with the Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association and the Tahoe Keys Marina. The Tahoe Keys Marina, and other privately-owned businesses, offer a variety of services, including boat launch services, fuel, marine repair services, watercraft sales and rentals, short-term boat mooring, and other recreational activities such as fishing charters, balloon rides, and parasailing. As a member of our Association, there is no charge to launch your boat at the Tahoe Keys Marina. This is a member only privilege for your personal boat.
To be eligible for membership in our association, members must own property within Tahoe Island Park Addition Number 4, including the areas commonly known as Sky Meadows and Mount Tallac Village 1, 2, 3, and 4 or the landlocked properties within the Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association. Boat Slip Licenses are typically sold/acquired privately pursuant to the preceding requirement.
