Tahoe Keys Beach and Harbor Association is located in South Lake Tahoe, CA near the corner of Tahoe Keys Blvd. and Venice Drive (Behind the Tahoe Keys Village). The Harbor consists of a total of 266 boat docks, a large parking lot and a unisex bathroom. There are 10 fingers of docks, "A" through "J". Each finger of docks is secured by a chain link fence and a locking gate. In 1999 there were 26 new docks built. These are the "J" docks which are thirty feet in length. The rest of the docks are all 20 feet in length with the exception of 8 docks on the east side of the "G" docks. The last several years the harbor has undergone many needed improvements. The first phase of work was the repair of the bulkhead and partial paving of the parking lot. The next phase of work was the replacement of 240 docks. The docks were replaced with new steel frames and trex decking. The ramps leading down to each finger of docks were also rebuilt. In 2007 a permanent unisex bathroom was built in the center of the parking lot and the pavement was replaced at the entrance. The final phase of improvements will be the completion of the BMPs (Best Management Practices) for drainage and erosion control. Membership in the association is limited to homeowners within the following subdivisions: Sky Meadows, Tahoe Island Park Addition Number 4, Mount Tallac village 1, 2, 3 and 4 and any land locked properties within the Tahoe Keys. (Such as the properties located on the lagoon side of Venice Drive without lake access). Tahoe Keys Marina, a full service marina, is located within walking distance of the Beach & Harbor docks. Some of the services that they offer are: boat launching, fuel, boat rentals, boat and trailer storage and a small store. The Fresh Ketch restaurant is also located at the marina.
